Benjamin Michael Lee, aka Ben Lee, was born in Australia, though he posts his location as “Citizen of the world” on his myspace.com page. He started playing music at the age of 14 and formed a band called Noise Addict.
When the band broke up, Lee, then 16, continued to play solo and recorded his first album called “Grandpaw Would” in 1995. His second album, “Something to Remember Me By” was released in 1997 and was used in the movie soundtrack for “There’s Something About Mary” in 1998.
Lee has released a total of seven albums, including his latest “The Rebirth of Venus” in Feb. 2009. He toured extensively through 2009, though he has no shows currently scheduled in 2010.
